We’re excited to share that our new album, The ʻOhana Sessions, will be released on August 7, with our first single, “Mai Tais in Paradise,” arriving July 24.

“Mai Tais in Paradise” is a warm, breezy song about slowing down, raising a glass, and finding a little escape wherever you are. It’s the first taste of an album that brings us back to the heart of what Slack Key ʻOhana has always been: family, music, and aloha.

The ʻOhana Sessions is our first studio album focused entirely on the trio: Brian, Carol, and Joe Witkin. After past releases featuring special guests, this project returns to the sound of the three of us playing together in the moment. The album was recorded live using vintage and analog equipment, with an emphasis on warmth, spontaneity, and real performances.

In support of our new releases, upcoming shows include Concerts at the Cove in Solana Beach on June 25, Pacific Records Festival in Pacific Beach on July 19, Moonlight Beach Summer Concerts in Encinitas on July 25, and two performances at Tiki Oasis in San Diego on August 6 and August 8.

The ʻOhana Sessions will be available digitally, as well as on translucent green 12-inch vinyl, CD, and cassette.
